Tantric meditation Prana Mudra - chakras

The Prana Mudra is actually a breathing technique combined with certain postures. Knowledge is required of the position of the chakras. See the image. It’s also great if you are used to the full breathing. Breathe calmly and as completely as possible. Breathe in and out through your nose.

You can do this meditation on our music. Just start the player when you’re ready. The phases 1 – 7, each last about 2 minutes. The music, therefore, changes every two minutes. The last two stages consist of a piece of music of about 7-8 minutes.

The essence of this meditation is that you can connect to your own life energy (Shakti energy). There is energy (prana) abound in us. The visualization allows that energy to come to life and spread throughout your body. But use your imagination. Enjoy!


Explanation tantric meditation Prana Mudra

Phase 1 – 2 minutes

Take a deep breath in. Hold for a while. Tighten your pelvic floor muscle (= root lock) in, breathe out fully (with the root lock).
Relax, breath in through your 1st chakra. Etc. Repeat this for about 2 minutes.

Phase 2-2 minutes

Breathe fully (through your nose!). Visualize a column of silver light coming up through your first chakra, moving up to your belly (2nd chakra). Hold your breath. Let the light sparkle and dance in the 2nd chakra. Set the root lock and exhale (nose). “Push” the light back to the 1st chakra. Relax, breath in through your 1st chakra. Etc. Repeat this for about 2 minutes.

Phase 3-2 minutes

Relax, breathe silver lightning through your 1st chakra, through your 2nd chakra to your 3rd chakra. Take your hands up with it. Hold your breath. Root lock, exhale. Take your hands along going down. “Push” the light back to the 1st chakra. Relax, breath in through your 1st chakra. Etc. Repeat this for about 2 minutes.

Phase 4-2 minutes

Relax, breathe silver lightning through your 1st chakra, through your 3rd chakra to your heart / 4th chakra. Take your hands up with it. Hold your breath. Root lock, exhale. Take your hands along going down. “Push” the light back to the 1st chakra. Relax, breath in through your 1st chakra. Etc. Repeat this for about 2 minutes.

Phase 5-2 minutes

Relax, breathe silver lightning through your 1st chakra, through your 3rd chakra, to your throat / 5th chakra. Take your hands up with it. Hold your breath. Root lock, exhale. Take your hands along going down. “Push” the light back to the 1st chakra. Relax, breath in through your 1st chakra. Etc. Repeat this for about 2 minutes.

Phase 6-2 minutes

Relax, breathe silver lightning through your 1st chakra, to your head/3 rd eye/6th chakra. Take your hands up with it, but keep them up and spread out now (10 am / 2 pm position). Hold your breath. See light emanating from your head, from your whole being. Feel the peace that you radiate. Relax, breath out (keep your hands up) and breath in through your 1st chakra. Etc. Repeat this for about 2 minutes.

Phase 7-2 minutes

Relax, exhale and slowly lower your arms to your sides. Leave a delicious cloud of sparkling light around your pockets. Relax and breathe normally as you like.

Phase 8 – 7-8 minutes

Relax and breathe normally. Observe how your body feels. Take yourself where the radiant being. This is your true nature. You came home.

Stage 9 – 7-8 minutes

Stay nice sitting (or lie down). Be aware as possible:

  • What sounds do you hear, what you smell?
  • What happens in your body … your skin, your muscles, your organs …
  • Be aware of the energy that you include physical body
  • Focus your awareness inward and take your mind where.

You need to change anything; there is no judgment, just watch.

Epilogue

You yourself, feel your body as a brilliant light. So this is your true nature, Your True Nature.

You can also do the Prana Mudra with two persons or more. Just sit facing each other. You can stay in eye contact during all phases or you can close your eye in the phases 1-6. With a larger group, go sit in a circle with your backs to each other. Don’t touch each other. Visualize the silver column of light also occurs between you.
